FF #1 was a stellar hit and really blew us away! Sadly, despite ordering lots of this comic, we recently sold out. Fear not, true believers, there is a new printing coming in-store next Wednesday 4/27. If you haven't read it yet, check out Jonathan Hickman's Future Foundation with this new cover variant of FF #1 next week!

Avengers #12 is quite an appropos ending for Bendis' Infinity Gauntlet story arc. Look for Parker Robins (The Hood) to get some justice and for what might just be a reconciliation between Tony Stark and Steve Rogers.

The storyline began with issue #7 and definately gets two thumbs up! Next week Bendis and veteran artist john Romits, Jr. kick off a brand new storyline in the Avengers #12.1 (Point One) issue. Can't wait!

Starts With A Flash

In hot pursuit of a glance into the new FLASHPOINT event from DC Comics I caught up on the last two issues of Flash (#9 & 10). Geoff Johns knows how to build something up! No spoilers here, but Barry Allen is definately going to be the focal point for the turning upside down of the entire DCU.

And who isn't more than a bit intrigued by the upcoming reinventions of many characters...a not Green Lantern Hal Jordan, a tyrant Aquaman, and a casino kingpin Batman! One wonders...what of these reinventions will remain, finding it's way into regular DC continuity ala Marvel's classic X-Men Age of Apocalypse storyline?
